I resorted to deleting my merchant account, and placing a pixel the old fashioned way.
It is honestly disappointing that Google created an official Shopify app for navigating their already confusing Merchant Center ecosystem, but only implemented half the functionality needed for physical retail stores.

It's rubbish, I'm using your own app to connect using the shopify API and you're telling me my website doesn't exist through automated checks, why or how is this so bad?
The automated processes don't work. Hence you have to read useless pages of support to discover what went wrong. No resolution at all and seems that getting to support is also wishful option for many.
Products that are not included in the channel, that I am not live with yet are still being sent via api and got me suspended.
Application non fonctionnelle, support inexistant.
Avoid this app... There is absolutely NO SUPPORT and they will ban you for any stupid reason they can think up and then not help you resolve the issue they created!

This app is terrible. It says everything is connected, but in reality conversions and audiences are not being tracked. I basically wasted €800 on Google Ads. I've been trying to figure out what to fix and where for two weeks now.
My store is flagged as misrepresentation by this app, I have happy customers and 5 star reviews. Google support is a joke.
Absolutely horrendous, AI-slop, Blackbox software. This is absolutely riddled with false-positive issues, inconsistent data, incomplete data being pushed to GMC and really provides no useful functionality from the app side.
Google Merchant Center is a real headache that lacks transparency. It is extremely frustrating and badly designed for creators.

Terrible app. It syncs products with Google Merchant Center inconsistently and incorrectly. There is no way to trigger a manual update, and new issues keep appearing all the time. Very unreliable and frustrating to use.
Completely useless app, customer support is just automated give no instructions on how to fix anything.
Updates have remained stalled, and no solutions have been provided. Awful customer service
I am surprised that an API between Google and Shopify is so buggy and lacking in features. The support for this app is severely lacking.
